The Nephrok! All-Stars perform music that spans several decades and many genres including Soul, R&B, Rock, and undoubtedly The Funk .  While their influences range from Sly and The Family Stone, to James Brown, to Parliament Funkadelic, Prince, and a host of other Funk pioneers – this band brings their music to life with a unmatchable creative energy and gritty old-school soulful style that has thrilled area audiences for years.

This is truly an all-star band comprised of some of Greater Boston’s finest musicians.  This group is headed by Nephrok! (nee Nephtaliem McCrary), one of the most inspiring and dynamic frontmen around.   On guitar and pitching in on vocals is Sonya Rae Taylor, a wonderful bandleader in her own right, her most talented husband Ryan Taylor on bass, the Professor of Funk Big Ben Hillman on keys and Peter “Pocket” McLean on drums.

Please come join us at our really cool Union Square location – Warehouse XI.  This is gonna be one helluva get-down-funky party!
