Walhalla - Group of friends who always have the best time performing! Mostly focused on classic rock and j-pop/rock covers. Met during their time at Berklee College of Music and are looking forward to continuing making music together!

João's music is a mix of influences that range from classic rock to the singer-songwriter tradition, from Brazilian music to IDM and lots more in between. His versatile and sensitive voice sings of heartbreak, anxiety and not knowing your place in the world. Currently based in Boston, MA, João is studying at Berklee College of Music. Born in Brazil, João started playing music when he was 15. Having played in many cover bands, he started writing his original music when he turned 20 and hasn’t looked back since. Inspired by artists like Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Bon Iver, Björk, Led Zeppelin and Milton Nascimento. João makes music because his anxiety and depression improved greatly when he figured out he could express himself through his writing. He wants to be able to connect to people in a deeper way than he can in day-to-day life. His live band is comprised of Michael Doughty on bass, Joseph Nehring on keyboards and Joe Tavarez on drums.
