SHK Music Presents: The A-Beez featuring Melissa Bolling and Lyle Brewer at Boston Harbor Distillery
The A-Beez is a Boston based music collective that might loosely be classified as funk,, but their original sound also draws heavily from soul, R&B, jazz and hip hop.
At its core is one of Greater Boston's most talented musician couples - keyboardist Amy Bellamy and bassist Aaron Bellamy. These two have played in the Sam Kininger band and have backed up such artists as Chaka Khan, Terri Lyne Carrington, G Love and the Juice, Res, Nth Power, Club D’elf and many others.
As the A-Beez, they team up with some of greater Boston's finest musicians to put on truly memorable performances. For this show they will bringing a horn section and 2 Boston based virtuosos: Melissa Bolling on vocals and Lyle Brewer on guitar. .
The A-Beez have been one of our favorite bands for years and SHK is thrilled to be bringing them back to the Distillery. You hear it all the time, but this is truly a show you do not want to miss.
