SHK Music Presents: WALL OF GRASS - CONCERT IN SUPPORT OF BREAST CANCER PATIENTS AT BOSTON HARBOR DISTILLERY

Wall of Grass is an interactive folk-music collective from Boston that periodically hosts extraordinary music events to raise funds to support local community service organizations.
This illustrious ensemble of some 26 musicians is returning to the Distillery, this year in support of the Ellie Fund. The Ellie Fund is a phenomenal non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the financial and emotional stresses of breast cancer patients, allowing patients to focus on treatment, family, and healing.
Wall of Grass has been dubbed as “Phil Spector meets Bill Monroe”, a “folkestra”, and a “folk-flash-mob”. The group plays in a big circle in a style of music now lovingly known as “cluster-folk.” At their concerts, the group distributes songbooks and encourages concert attendees to sing, dance and clap along. So much fun - and all the proceeds go for a great cause!
The amazing list of talented musicians performing at this event includes : Sal Baglio ~ Marty Ballou ~ Sax Gordon Beadle ~ Craig Carter ~ Dinty Child ~ Mark Cutler ~ Catharine David ~ Jerome Deupree ~ Joe Donnelly ~ Steve Gilligan ~ Peter Hoffman ~ Kelly Knapp ~ Larry Luddecke ~ Sandy Martin ~ Dave Mattacks ~ Chuck McDermott ~ Chris Pahud ~ Rosy Rosenblatt ~ John Ryder ~ Denis Semprebon ~ Glenn Shambroom ~ Joey Thieman ~ Jamie Walker ~ David Weden ~ Laurie Young ~ Kailey Zercher.
