Cold Expectations - Fresh off their 2024 Rock & Roll Rumble performance, Cold Expectations are eager to return to the Burren Backroom stage. They are a moody, dark, indie-rock band from Boston MA. Guitarist Steve Prygoda and bassist JoEllen Saunders Yannis have shapeshifted their own sound over time, crafting 21st century pop songs that borrow from the post-punk & new wave past. Drummer Mike Demers (The Winter Project/Krebstar) fills out the songs with solid, driving rhythms. After a string of successful singles & videos, they released their first full-length CE, Static Reactions, produced by David Minehan, via Red on Red Records. Their October 2023 single, a cover of Lou Miami & the Kozmetix “(I Live with) Ghosts” was released on Rum Bar Records.

The Gypsy Moths - Garage soul shakers The Gypsy Moths are celebrating their 10th year as a band this year! The band released their third full length album (Sounds On) on Rum Bar Records in summer of 2023, with a handful of digital singles added to rotation on the “Little Steven’s Underground Garage” and "Coolest Songs In The World" channels on Sirius XM, along with significant streaming and terrestrial radio airplay across the US, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Girl with a Hawk is an American band formed in 2021. Fronted by singer/songwriter Linda Viens, the band includes Boston rock luminaries Richard Lamphear on keys, Dan Coughlin on guitar, Nancy Delaney on drums, and Daniel Bernfeld on bass. Described as “gorgeously emotive indie rock with Americana, garage, and punk roots, the band channels influences such as Tom Petty, Teenage FanClub, The Pretenders, Wilco and the Velvet Underground into a sound all their own: melodic, rich and 100% rock.” The band’s 5-song EP, 'keep 'er lit', out on seminal rock label Rum Bar Records, has held steady in the #2 spot on Indie Radio Stations across the US and the UK since its release on December 8, 2023.
