Through happenstance and circumstance, the four members of Boston’s Prime movers came together at an early age with little to no idea how to go about channeling their love of rock n roll into music and no intention of letting that stop them. It was 1980 and before long, they were in the thick of the thriving local music scene that was Boston in the eighties. Two comp tracks on Throbbing Lobster got airplay and the band toured extensively. After releasing an EP, the group broke up in 1987. The band reunited in the early 2000s to complete a full length cd and a European tour before disbanding in 2009. The three original members will reunite for one night only, the first time they’ve shared a stage in fifteen years.
