Daydream
Since 2023, Daydream has been playing roots-inspired Jam Band music that blends Americana, Soulful Songwriting, and hard-driving Rock n’ Roll. With a sound that harkens back to the classic Jam Pioneers the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers, while carving a new path fully its own.
After a long period in the Boston and New England Jam scene playing covers bandleader David Rubin started Daydream as an outlet for his own original music. David has won over audiences by playing with the some of most recognizable acts, including his own Band Diamond Blues, at residencies, tour dates, and festivals in the Boston area. He’s played with Members of Hot Tuna, Ryan Montbleau, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Dark Star Orchestra, Guerilla Toss, Marble Eyes, Swimmer, Brown-Eyed Women, and Bearly Dead. The rest of the band is drawn from a superstar collective of some of the best musicians in the Jam scene bringing their own unique flair to the songs each night.
After announcing their first show at the Midway cafe in September they had over 60+ people come on the first night and had over 100+ people follow their social media pages a few days after their creation. Watch out for a debut EP dropping soon!
