Bridgerton Brunch
Join Vintage String for an engaging two hours of music as they perform timeless pieces from some of the most distinguished recording artists & composers of the past 400 years. The first set will feature the Vintage String Quartet taking a nod from the hit show Bridgerton. We’ll travel back to favorite melodies and compositions from composers of the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras and then travel ahead to many popular covers of current hits.
In the second set, the Vintage String Signature Trio will perform unique medleys of artists like the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Aretha Franklin, along with opportunities for interactive guessing games, musical history knowledge, and singing along for those who just can’t resist. Relive favorite pop, rock, and soul music with Vintage String’s unique, classical sensibility, but distinctly modern edge.
VINTAGE STRING is a live music performance group founded by Vanessa Fitzgerald and Diane Hastings. Passionate performers and classically trained musicians, Diane and Vanessa have active freelance careers ranging from local pubs and symphony halls, as well as the national touring stage. The VINTAGE STRING team includes a close network of outstanding and highly trained musicians, who are passionate about making unforgettable musical moments in every performance.Vanessa and Diane take their inspiration from classical giants like Mozart and Bach, as well as contemporary giants like Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Their unique arrangements of hip-hop, soul, and R&B artists feature artists like Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé, Outkast, and TLC. Performing alongside Diane and Vanessa in the Bridgerton Brunch on September 8th, 2024 will be Elena Korbaleva (cello), Jess Amidon (violin), and Ed Cardenes (percussion).
