Shotgun Waltz Vinyl Release Show! W/Special Guests, Jamie Walker & Friends

Shotgun Waltz is an alternative roots rock band founded in 2012 and based in Westwood, MA. Anchored by the songwriting of singer/guitarist/steel player Jim DeTore (The Bloodhounds, Airport, Whiskey-6) and powered by veteran local rockers: drummer, Rick Weden (The Lines, Davis Black), bassist, Pete Abajoli (SuperLow, The Melatonins) and lead guitarist, Adam Dehner (2Adam12, AJ Edwards Band, Adicus), the band creates a fresh sound that draws inspiration from both roots music as well as 80’s and 90’s alternative rock. Longtime frequent performers around Boston, Shotgun Waltz has just released a new 10 song album “Root Causes” in February 2025. Recorded at Q Division and produced by Ed Valauskas, three singles from the record have hit number one on independent radio charts.
Jamie Walker & Friends - Just another kid inspired by the Beatles’ appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, Jamie fronted and fueled several Boston bands with his songs in the 1980s; the Lines, the Drive (V66 and MTV Basement Tapes) and finally Swinging Steaks (Capricorn Records 1990 to present). A few of his songs became Boston radio staples on WBCN, WCOZ, WZLX, and WAAF in Worcester and have appeared in Hollywood movies and on TV. With some friends both old and new, JW and Friends play roots rock music; songs wrapped in elements of rock, pop, country, soul, R&B, and blues.
