Ensemble Sangineto is a world class, world music band comprised of 3 veterans of the Italian music scene, and they are an extremely professional, and fiendishly talented group.

Led by the Sangineto twins Adriano and Caterina, they were brought up in a house where their luthier father rubbed elbows with stellar lights in the music scene such as Derek Bell of the Chieftains and the harp renaissance’s Alan Stivell from Brittany. The band’s resulting creative interplay on Celtic harp, bowed psaltery, guitar, and flute, combined with the stunning three-part vocal harmonies have led an artistic director at Carnegie Hall to call them a unique ensemble indeed. Adriano Sangineto’s mastery and innovative stylings on the harp need to be seen and heard to be believed, while Caterina’s voice is that of an angel; one, moreover, with Baroque training! Underpinning it all is Jacopo’s mastery at the perfect style of accompaniment on the guitar.

Their latest tour takes you on a trip through Italy via a traditional song from each region, with medieval, Celtic, jazz, and contemporary stylings among others, thrown in for good measure!
