Figment is a high-energy collective that merges blues and electronic funk with the improvisational spirit of jazz fusion. Born out of jam sessions at Northeastern University in 2024, the band has quickly developed a tight, playful sound inspired by artists like Vulfpeck, Snarky Puppy, and Herbie Hancock.  Don't let their youth fool you - these are very talented musicians who focus on creating engaging and dynamic music while balancing complex harmonies and rhythms with a groove that gets people moving. Their polished arrangements and free-flowing improvisation offer a unique vibe that will leave you asking yourself: 'What is that weird blue synthesizer—and why do I actually like how it sounds'?
