SHK Music Presents Blues For Toni: Featuring Frank EB and One Dime Band
Two great blues bands return to the Distillery to generate a whole lotta positive vibes to help our dear friend Toni Lynn Washington along on her recovery.
Frank EB (aka Frank Maneiro & Frankie Boy) has won the Annual Blues Challenge three times with Granite State and again with this year’s Boston Blues Society Challenge enabling his bands to represent our region four times at the Annual International Competition in Memphis. Frank is an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and a captivating solo performer and bandleader. His Frank EB trio made their Distillery debut at our Blues Festival in June and they were so wonderfully engaging, we had to have them come back and headline their own show. While the blues flavors their style and they play some straight blues tunes, their really fun repertoire includes soul, rock, hip hop and more.

Opening the evening will be the One Dime Trio who have played to grateful Distillery audiences a number of times. If you don't know them by now, you really should. The core of this SHK-crowd favorite band is John Brauchler on guitars and Paul Gallucci on vocals and harp. They bring a masterclass in roots music to the stage, blending the grit of the blues with the smooth grooves of R&B and soul. John and Paul have won the Best Blues Act of the year twice, the first with the Boston Blues Society and the second with the Granite State Blues Society - and like Frankie, had the honor of representing both organizations at the annual International Blues competition in Memphis. For this show, they will be joined by bassist Jeff Majeau.

This event is being presented by SHK Music at Boston Harbor Distillery - a wonderfully unique and intimate setting to take in great music with its 1850's architecture, great acoustics, comfortable seating and fantastic selection of made-on-the-premises liquors and liqueurs.
