The Gruesomes, Muck and the Mires, Tiger Bomb + DJ Sherman

The Gruesomes, Muck and the Mires, Tiger Bomb + DJ Sherman
The Gruesomes
Formed in 1985 when the members were between the ages of 16 and 19, THE GRUESOMES have maintained the same lineup since 1987: Bobby Beaton (guitar, vocals), Gerry Alvarez (guitar, vocals), John Davis (bass), and John Knoll (drums).

Their debut album, Tyrants of Teen Trash (1986), became a cult hit and cemented their reputation as leaders of the 1960s garage rock revival. Known for their wild stage antics and their knack for blending humor with authentic ’60s-style rock and roll, songs like “Way Down Below” and “Get Outta My Hair” have become underground anthems.

The band’s latest album—and their first in over 20 years—Dimension of Fear is out now on Germany’s Soundflat Records.

The Gruesomes are still active, performing around the world. This is their only New England appearance.

Muck and the Mires
Boston’s veteran garage rockers MUCK AND THE MIRES were once described as “a mix of the 1964 Beatles and The Ramones” by legendary Runaways producer Kim Fowley, who went on to produce several of the band’s records. The group achieved worldwide recognition after being crowned #1 US Garage Rock Band by Little Steven Van Zandt in his Battle of the Bands on MTV.

They have performed coast-to-coast in the USA, as well as in the UK, EU, South America, Canada, and Japan, and have previously toured with THE GRUESOMES in Mexico and Europe. When not on the road, Muck and the Mires can be heard broadcast and streamed everywhere, including SiriusXM’s Underground Garage, where their hit “Beat Revolution” received heavy rotation after being selected a “Coolest Song in the World.”

Tiger Bomb is an all female garage-pop & rock outfit from Portland, Maine. Featuring Chris Horne from The Brood and Lynda Mandolyn from Fabulous Disaster. Their sound mixes vintage garage-rock attitude with power-pop melodies. The group's new LP "15 Super Hits" will be coming out this month on Get Hip Records.
