Georgia Bee grew up at the Burren, underfoot and onstage, while her parents played a regular Saturday night set with their bluegrass and western swing band, “The Bagboys.” She returns as a young adult to share her own songs in her own style. Whether performing as a solo artist or with her band, “Elder Bee,” she brings a unique ability to break down the fourth wall and transform the crowd into a fully participating chorus. Her lyrics weave a wide lens on injustice, in the legacy of protest folks songs, with introspection about our intimate relationships, both witty and profound.
