Em Wise is an alternative folk singer-songwriter and producer currently based in Boston. Wise launched her independent project in 2024, using music to explore themes of love, loss, and identity. Her sound pairs soulful, whimsical melodies with rich storytelling, backed by layered guitars, strings, and percussion. After debuting her first single in September 2024, she released a series of self-produced tracks centered on authenticity and the beauty of imperfection.

In April 2026, Wise released her debut album, 90 Degree Dreams, which features a collection of demos tracking her growth from her earliest songwriting days to the present. Much of her work is shaped by her experience as an interracial adoptee. Through her music, she hopes to connect with anyone who has grown up feeling "othered" or out of place.
