Rooted in the traditional Scottish repertoire that has shaped Alasdair’s musical life, as well as a deep association with the Iberian peninsula, the quartet expands outward into a vibrant, contemporary sound world, combining the diverse musical explorations of all members of this exciting new band. With generations of musical influence, family chemistry and a shared instinct for adventure, the group brings fresh energy to old traditions— moving effortlessly between fiery dance tunes, lyrical airs, original compositions and unexpected musical journeys.
