Adam Sherman - Vocalist, performer, songwriter Adam Sherman was the voice of A&M recording artists Private Lightning, lead singer and songwriter of The Souls and a member of The Nervous Eaters. He has been nominated for six Boston Music Awards and was nominated for Performer of the year at the 2025 New England Music Awards. Sherman has released four critically-acclaimed solo albums in Sorrows and Smiles, River of Dreams, Triangle Sky and Songbird. His 2025 EP Nowhere But Here earned praise in WBUR, Boston's NPR, as well as Twangville, Americana UK, Goldmine and elsewhere. His single Everyday Dangers garnered frequent radio airplay as one of the Coolest Songs in the World by Little Steven's Underground Garage on SiriusXM. He performs monthly with the Adam Sherman Band at The Plough and Stars in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The Starlings - If you’re going to call yourself the Starlings, you’d better be able to sing beautifully. This is not a problem for Kelly Knapp and Therese Bellino,, the frontwomen of this roots-pop supergroup. Joined by some of the hardest-traveling and most-admired players in Boston, they bring fresh energy to a timeless sound: Imagine the Everly Sisters fronting a punk-informed roadhouse band and you’ll get the idea. Guitarist and sometimes singer David Fredette has long been known as one of the hottest in town, since his early days with the Oysters and his long spell with those rock aristocrats the Upper Crust. Current bassist Dan Bernfeld doubles as part of the popular Girl With a Hawk, and drummer Jim Buni led his own band Buttercup for years before hitting out as a solo artist. As for the two frontwoman, they’ve done their share of harmonizing in the past—Kelly with the Bristols, one of Boston’s first and greatest all-female bands, and then the pioneering Americana group the Darlings; and Therese with the much-loved Lazy Susan. Finding themselves with open schedules for the first time in awhile, they finally realized that their voices were made to blend together. A Starlings set can go in all sorts of directions—pretty and raunchy, old and new, originals and classic covers—but they’ll get you home in time.
