Makis Emmanouilidis is a Boston-based Greek singer-songwriter and founder of MIA ANASA. Since 1997 he has performed throughout New England, including appearances at MIT's Kresge Auditorium, the Tsai Performance Center, and the Maliotis Cultural Center. His original music combines the rich traditions of Greek folk and rebetiko with contemporary influences. His latest album, Meeting Point, reflects his passion for building cultural bridges through original songs that honor Greek musical heritage while speaking to today's audiences.
