Don White is a beloved and important member of our music community and suffered a major medical incident last year. Local musicians will be gathering on September 20th for a pop up open mic, to help raise funds toward expenses which are not covered by insurance such as those related to travel, recovery care, lost wages, and out-of-pocket medical expenses. His family has been able to manage these first 8 months, but the finances are draining quickly. This is a free event, but pass the hat donations will be much appreciated. Don has been a friend and mentor to many and has made a decades-long commitment to bringing joy into our world with his songs, humor and stories. Let’s do what we can to help him keep doing the amazing work he has been doing with us for so long.
