Men Without Work Halloween 80's Party
This is a party folks. Plain and simple! Thinking of dropping by to see Men Without Work? Well… set your musical expectations low and your fun expectations high! MWOW is a group of local friends who come together every couple of years to play some great 80’s tunes, badly! The band consists of amateur living room musicians and local… dare I say very talented lifelong professional artists who are thrown into the hot bed of playing the instruments they have NOT made their reputation on.
The true skinny on this show is; it’s a birthday party. Musician, music organizer and myth in his own time Tom Bianchi, ever-garaged bassist & benefactor to local music Jim O’Hara and the legendary, and only fella playing an instrument he’s familiar with (there has to be at least one) Jeff Gaynor are all November babies and they’ve been doing this bi, and sometimes tri-annual show for many years now. Joined by David Nugent on guitar (no relation to Ted) and the amazing guitarist, who will get nowhere near a guitar on this evening, Danielle Miraglia on DRUMS, Men Without Work is a great time and a silly celebration of songs us 80’s kids grew up with.
Costumes are not required, but encouraged! Dress as your favorite 80's icon or in your favorite best/worst 80's style.
