Amy Kucharik and Tiger Moan invite special guests each month and push the tables aside to make room for dancing. This month, Cheryl Arena leads the band all night, featuring Mike DiBari on guitar plus Tiger Moan regulars Steve Chaggaris, Erica Risti, Tim Lewandowski and Greg Toro.

Cheryl Arena sizzles with excitement as she mesmerizes audiences with her sultry voice, powerhouse energy, and outstanding harmonica playing. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Cheryl began playing harmonica and immersing herself into the Blues in 1987. She has toured regionally, nationally, and internationally. In her 30+ year career she has shared the stage with many well known Blues artists such as Junior Wells, RL Burnside, Honey Boy Edwards, James Cotten, Pinetop Perkins, Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson, Janiva Magness, and many more. Cheryl has recorded several albums including the critically acclaimed “Blues Got Me,” a 13 track-CD with seven original songs. Cheryl is endorsed by Hohner and plays Marine Band harmonicas.

Tiger Moan: Specializing in vintage blues with sass and class, Tiger Moan is in the fifth year of their residency playing first Sundays every month at the Burren Backroom. Tiger Moan has entertained blues and swing dancers at events such as Sweet Molasses Blues, Blues Union, Yale Swing & Blues and MIT's Bread & Bones fusion dance. The band is known for covering the best blues standards and for funky originals with innovative lyrics.
