Celebrate the luck of the Irish with a special St. Patrick's Irish variety show in The Burren Backroom.

This show will feature traditional Irish jigs, reels, ballads, stories & dancing.  Led by Tommy McCarthy and Louise Costello each show will feature special guests, Rose McCarthy, Padder Giles Seamus Noonan, Robert Elliott along with Irish Step Dancers.  You also never know who may swing stop by and play a tune as well!

Menu options (sold separately) will include The Burren's Irish staples like Guinness Stew, Shepards Pie and of course, Corned Beef and Cabbage.  There will be a vegetarian/vegan option as well and Shamrock Pie will be available for dessert.

Tommy McCarthy and Louise Costello are traditional Irish musicians who have performed with many of the trad genre's elite including: The Chieftains, Michael Flatley, Sharon Shannon and many more. Their critically acclaimed album "Grace Bay" is a collection of original compositions & traditional favorites. They are also owners of the Burren, which, since its opening in 1996, is considered the premiere venue for traditional music in the U.S.

The Burren has received numerous awards for Best Irish Bar, it is one of the only bars in the Boston area that has live traditional music almost every night.
