EARFULL - Writers Reading. Songwriters Singing.

EARFULL - Writers Reading. Songwriters Singing.
EARFULL is a performance series featuring writers and musicians doing their respective things in an intimate setting. WRITERS read from their new books, or about-to-be books, or right from their crumpled up notes.  MUSICIANS range from harpists to horn blowers, from solo songwriters to full-on rock bands. EARFULL EVENINGS offer food & drink at the venue, and time between acts to socialize. On Tuesday, April 1st, we welcome authors Alison Espach and Meredith Goldstein, and musical acts John Powhida and Nat Freedberg. More about Earfull at https://earfull.org/.

ALISON ESPACH is the New York Times best-selling author of The Wedding People, a New York Times Editor’s Choice, a Goodreads Choice Awards Winner, a Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, and Library Journal Best Book of the Year, as well as a TODAY Show #ReadwithJenna Book Club pick, a Barnes and Noble Book Club Pick, and the #1 Indie Next Pick for August 2024. The novel has been translated into over twenty languages. Alison’s previous books are Notes on Your Sudden Disappearance, and The Adults. Her fictional audio series, In-Depth Market Research Interviews with Dead People, is an Audible Original.

NAT FREEDBERG is a musician and songwriter from Boston who’s written and recorded songs with some of Boston’s most beloved bands, including THE FLIES, THE TITANICS, THE SATANICS, THE CLAMDIGGERS, and THE UPPER CRUST. After taking some time off, Nat got very busy, releasing a 12-song solo album, Better Late Than Never, in February of 2019, followed by the 10-song Freeloader, Path of Least Resistance in July 2019, another solo album Record Number Three in February 15, 2020, and Freeloader II in 2021. He’s currently hard at work on a new album project with the working title Counterfeit Soul. On April 1, joining Nat will be the kicking Boston players Chris Cote, Jim Janota and Ed Valauskas.
