The A-Beez are truly one of our all-time favorite bands at SHK Music.  Amy and Aaron Bellamy are one of Boston’s most talented musical couples and among their many credits are performances with the likes of Chaka Khan, Terri Lyne Carrington, Sam Kininger, G Love and the Juice, Res, Nth Power, and Club D’elf to name a few.  The flexible group of musicians they call the A-Beez attracts the area’s finest musicians to fill out their ensemble and we are very excited to be hosting their return to the Distillery. Their music has its roots in soul, R&B and jazz - but when it comes down to it, you’ll remember them as one of funkiest bands around.

AppleMill - Opening the evening will be the debut of a great new band called AppleMill, the brainchild of Tom Appleman and Seth Miller.  They began writing original music together in the early part of the COVID lockdown, when they penned a series of soulful rock songs inspired by legends of the past while crafting their own fresh sound. Fans of Elton John, Wings, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Tears for Fears, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Crowes, and Lenny Kravitz will all find something to like about AppleMill. This show will be the band's EP release party - and their first official public performance. Featuring Mike Levesque (drums), Bruce Bears (keys), Tom Appleman (bass, vocals), Seth Miller (vocals, harmonica), and some very special guests.
